Acid Reflux, one of the many negative side effects of the typical American diet, which does not include enough fruits, vegetables.
What is Acid Reflux?
This occurs when the gastric contents of the stomach, including digestive hydrochloric acid, “backs up” into the esophagus.
Signs of Acid Reflux
The result? You suffer from chest pain, heartburn, and a burned or ulcerated esophageal lining. This tissue damage can cause hoarseness, constriction, and difficulty swallowing. Nearly half of all adult Americans suffer from this gastric nightmare.
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
In its most severe form, this condition is called Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). It is usually treated with prescription proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
Side effects of Prescription Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs)
But the trouble with these drugs is that they can cause headaches, nausea, and diarrhea. Moreover, they were never intended for long-term use because they can also weaken bones; contribute to osteoporosis—and even make you susceptible to pneumonia and other infections.

Melatonin. Recent studies indicate that supplementing the body’s production of melatonin helps totally eliminate acid reflux.
Betaine. This natural compound helps increase digestive activity and helps prevent the loss of potassium that often results from digestive complaints.
Calcium. GERD inhibits your body’s ability to absorb the calcium so supplementation is necessary to make sure that bones and muscles are fortified.
Folic Acid helps overcome the body’s inability to properly absorb food nutrients caused by gastrointestinal problems.
Licorice. The extract from this medicinal root helps soothe irritated esophageal tissue due to acid reflux.
Methionine. This essential amino acid is believed to help repair and protect irritated or ulcerated esophageal tissue.
Taurine seems to stimulate the bile synthesis necessary for proper metabolism. It also boasts antioxidant properties to help stave off disease.
Vitamins B6 & B12. In an important clinical study, this dynamic duo of B vitamins helped eliminate GERD symptoms in test subjects in as little as 40 days.
5-HTP is an amino acid that helps increase the body’s natural production of serotonin necessary to stimulate digestion in the small intestines.
Suggested Use: Take two (2) capsules daily before bed or as directed by your healthcare professional.
